Research Administrator Day 

VCU Research Administrator Day is a celebration of the research administration (RA) profession and our RA community at VCU. Through a series of presentations, roundtable discussions, and an award ceremony; faculty, senior leaders, and administrators from around the University share their contributions to One VCU Research and champion the RAs that make it possible.

Research Administrator Day 2026

When: September 23rd (full day of presentations, activities, and awards)

Request for speaking proposals: We will be accepting speaking proposals via our RA Day 2026 Speaker Interest form through the end of July! Please send your ideas; all suggestions are welcome.

Location: James Branch Cabell Library, Lecture Room (303, 3rd floor)

RA Day Awards Nominations:

RA Day Awards are now open for nominations through to August 11th. You may submit more than one nomination, but a separate form should be completed for each nominee and award category. Award recipients will be reviewed and selected through a panel process using award-specific criteria, with attention to the nominee's contributions, impact, and alignment with the selected award category.
